Using ViewMedica in iFrames

NOTE: Using an iFrame to embed ViewMedica on your website is not recommended. The best way to embed ViewMedica is with this basic embed code.

ViewMedica can be played through an iFrame as long as the iFrame is relatively-pathed, meaning the page you are iFraming is on your own server. ViewMedica cannot be iFramed from a different domain, protocol or port because of security reasons.

To iFrame ViewMedica, create an HTML page that has your viewmedica embed in it at your server's root called viewmedica.html. The page might have the following HTML:

<!DOCTYPE html>
        <title>ViewMedica 6.0</title>
            * {
                padding: 0;
                margin: 0;
        <!--ViewMedica Embed -->
        <div id="vm"></div>
        <script type="text/javascript" src=""></script>
        <script type="text/javascript">client="CLIENT_ID"; width=580; vm_open();</script>
        <!-- End ViewMedica Embed -->

Then, your iFrame would look like this:

<iframe src="/viewmedica.html" width="580" height="373" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" background-color="transparent" />

It is important to use relative pathing in your call to the iFrame to avoid domain name conflicts arising from the differences between vs.
